Holistic sustainability is at the core of all of my work ⏤ for both people, wildlife and the planet.

All prints are crafted on Hahnemühle Bamboo paper, made from 90% bamboo fibres and 10% cotton for a natural look with eco-friendly properties. This warm white, lightly textured paper turns moments captured in camera into artwork that lasts a lifetime.

Prints are now processed at a local, sustainable print studio in Melbourne (Naarm). They are 95% plastic free and are conscious of their ecological footprint every step of the way. They also operate 4 days per week to give their staff a more sustainable work/life balance.

10% of proceeds made through Kate Newman Prints are also donated to the Karrkad Kanjdji Trust. An organisation that brings together Indigenous ranger groups, communities and philanthropists to address some of our nation’s most pressing issues (including environmental conservation, ranger employment and the intergenerational transfer of Indigenous knowledge).

Supporting Indigenous-led conservation is deeply important to me, and every project supported by the Karrkad Kanjdji Trust is 100% Indigenous and community driven — all the way from concept through to implementation.

If you have any questions about the ethics and sustainability of any of my work, be sure to reach out. I’m an open book!
