My 3 Favourite Things

from A$80.00

Story:
A yellow-tailed black cockatoo, the moon, and honey bees ⏤ 3 of my greatest loves. These birds are naturally rather shy, but on an early summer’s day I heard their call close by and found them in a tree just a mere 20 metres from my house. As I got closer I noticed that the moon was also passing by a particular branch, so I sat patiently, hoping that the cockatoo would find the branch inviting and eventually it did.

As I began to take their image I noticed that the tree was covered in flowers and thousands of bees (from my hive just a few metres away). It wasn’t until editing this image that I discovered that I was able to capture all 3 in one singular image. A print dedicated to patience.
