Treetop Snooze

from A$80.00

Story:
Koalas spend up to 20 hours of the day sleeping! This is mainly due to their strict diet of eucalyptus leaves and the amount of energy required to break down their toxicity. As you can see, they like to curl up into little balls in the fork of a tree to rest… This one was photographed at a conservation reserve, and I must admit that it was rather hard to spot. Who knew something so round and fluffy could camouflage so very well!

Location:
Phillip Island, Victoria
⏤ Captured on Boonwurrung Country.
